FrenZ FrenZY is located on a happening nightlife area at Doyama. Direction: Take a train to Umeda station (梅田駅), exit via Midosuji Minami. It is approximately a 10-minute walk across the station. FrenZ is situated on the first floor along a small alley. If you don’t pay enough attention, it might be quite hard to notice from the walkway. But don’t be deceived by its outlook! You will be surprised once you get in.

…” Unlike other conventional bars, there is no cover charge (or entry fee) for all the customers. “…

As the name implies, FrenZ FrenZY is groomed with a very friendly atmosphere. Paul – the owner of the bar, has started the business since 10 years ago. You will be welcomed by his impressive friendliness, laid back but yet excellent and attentive “Aussie style’s” hospitality at the doorstep! (On a side note, he has a very good sense of humor!) Unlike other conventional bars, there is no cover charge (or entry fee) for all the customers (usually bars in Osaka will charge approximately 500-1000 yen or even more per person upon entry!!). I have also noticed a very heart-warming gesture offered by the bar –a free locker to secure your belongings before you get real tipsy or drunk!

…. “Thanks to its friendly reputation, it has attracted international famous pop star singers like Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert!”…

First thing first, the bar is decorated with rainbow-like painting through out the wall and it is also illuminated by colorful light bulbs, not forgetting to mention the very retro element – the disco ball, at the center of the bar. The funky and rainbowish décor is not only advocating for the LGBT community, but also serves to provide a good ambiance for freedom! Regardless of your sexual orientation, FrenZ welcomes people all around the world to join the party! You can see a mixed crowd of people (the tourists and the locals) dancing and mingling with each other while quenching their thirst with alcohols. Like any other bars and shops in Japan, FrenZ is generally spacious enough for you to avoid being

elbowed by others while dancing. Besides being the owner of the bar, Paul is also the DJ-in-the-house! The bar features a large variety of music. So not to worry about whether or not you will be able to dance your sweat out! If you have any request for the music, feel free to let him knows. Thanks to its friendly reputation, it has attracted international famous pop star singers like Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert!

…. “FrenZ could be a good starting place for you to expand your networking.”…

Furthermore, if you feel like being the “in-house singer”, the microphone is always ready for you at the bar and the Karaoke is FREE!!! Otherwise, if dancing or singing is not your cup of tea, the bar has also prepared some mini games for you and your friends to kill time. I personally recommend FrenZ for all the partygoers. Reasons: it is not only a place simply just for dancing; the cozy environment with people visiting from around the globe, making it a good opportunity for you and I to expand our international social circle. For the local, it might be a good place to practice your English due to its international crowds; for the tourists, it might be a good medium to pick up some useful Japanese language. Therefore, FrenZ could be a good starting place to expand your networking. Who knows you would be able to find a good shopping buddy or companion for the rest of your stay in Japan!

…. “FrenZ offers you with their unique and awesome cocktail drink – the Yogurito Mango!”…

Not only does FrenZ provide good party atmosphere and excellent services, but it also serves a large variety of alcohols. Well, good news for all the cocktail lovers! Cocktails such as “bloody marry”, “sex on the beach”, “martini” are too mainstream for all the hipsters like us. FrenZ offers you with their unique and awesome cocktail drink – the Yogurito Mango! When the tropical sweetness from the mango juice mixes with the slightly bitter and creamy Yogurito, it will definitely blast your taste bud and ask for another one! (On a side note, Yogurito is an alcoholic yogurt drink, which consists of 16% of alcohol. It is produced in Holland and distributed in Japan only by Suntory.) So, this will be another good excuse to try!

Not forgetting the beer drinkers, FrenZ is also well equipped with a diverse choice of beers, from draught beers to international selections like Corona and Heineken, and of course, it also offers “the local big fours” – Asahi, Sapporo, Kirin and Suntory. Average price for beers is approximately 500 yen.

FrenZ FrenZY should be checked in your next to-do-list!
